Reallyyyy tempting to do this while the motor is out... How many wires did you have to lengthen or shorten?

I had to lengthen the wires for the coils. Those should be the only ones you have to lengthen. Everything else fell right into place.

So, I was asked for updates on what ChaseBays is doing on the Evo, so here's the work so far:

Brake and power steering lines:

All of these products will come out into production.

+4. My motor won't be together until late next month. It won't be running until a month after that. I was debating doing a wire tuck.

Is Chasebays making a complete wire/line tuck solution? I have a friend who is a wizard with wire tucks and was going to get him to help me with the main harness.

Currently the engine harness is in the mock-up phase. Should be ready to install and make final measurements within a month.

He's expressed interest in doing A/C lines. Right now he's just doing the power steering line/can, an "in bay" brake line set/abs delete, as well as a fully tucked brake lines/abs delete/brake booster delete.

If someone found me a smoking deal on a precision Vband housing /collector for my 6262 I would consider being the guinea pig for an air conditioning solution for a front facing setup. With the birth of my daughter fundages is becoming tighter.

Yes, Chase is doing both my engine and chassis harness, both will be available. I'm not sure how he's going to handle if someone only wants one harness, as the interconnect between the two will now be inside the car on mine.
Also, keep in mind mine is an VIII. No Mivec, ACD, ABS, intercooler sprayer, and I'm running a standalone. Since this is in its infancy there will be a learning curve on the option base for him. I've tried to inform him of differences, but I may not be able to catch everything.

Cool, I'll pass along this link, he might see about getting a vendor account here with the interest this seems to be generating.

I'm just getting the expanded sleeving on mine, as I like the way it looks, but he will have options for a full milspec/raychem setup. The twistlock firewall passthrough will be optional as well.

Full disclosure for any mods passing through: I do not work for Chasebays, but part of the deal on doing the prototype is that my car is sponsored by them.
