My New Silver Evo
I hate Silver... I miss my black Evo SOOO much. I REALLY like this one alot, but it's just not the same
I've thought about painting it black, but I think I'm going to paint it a really dark graphite color (NOT OEM Graphite Grey, something closer to Phantom Black). Anyway, I decided to dust off my camera today. I haven't done any photography in forever. I went back to an old location, and I'm lacking composition, but give me a break
And yes, I know, I know. I need black housing headlights

Incase nobody remembers, this my old Evo R.I.P.

The black one just looks so much more evil, which I LOVE. Though, I seem to get alot more compliments on my new one than I ever did with my black one

Dont Hate on the Silver. Just think about it, Easier to maintain, when the silver is detailed and clean it gives amazing shodows to the paint. Think Positive its a Really nice clean Color.

And to answer some questions. The wheels on my black car were the OEM Enkei's painted gloss black.
The canards are OEM.
The car is using on RobiSpec Springs. I love them. My previous Evo had Swifts, and I too loved them. The black car had Tein S-techs when I bought it and my new Silver one had Tanabe's when I bought it. I didn't like the way either of them felt.
And yes, Silver is VERY easy to maintain and there is rarley any need to wash it, which is nice. But, I REALLY enjoied washing my TB, because I felt like I was restoring it back from death each time because after a week it was so crazy filthy. The Silver car, not so much. I don't feel like I accomplished much after cleaning it. It just looks a little better
Also, like you said, under some lights the Silver really shows off the lines of the fenders. That's a plus
Another reason I dislike silver is because it's so commen. Not only with Evo's, but EVERYthing. No that black stands out, but black, or dark colored cars, like Graphite Grey look so evil, and I love the Evil look

Reading helps
Back on topic. I love the look of the car. Reminds me a lot of my car. I know you mentioned it but black housings will really set the front end apart. Maybe a nice shiny FMIC also. As for the silver I know exactly what you mean. Silver always looks good but I also love the aggressive look of GG or WW. Plus every car on the road these days is silver so that doesnt help...In the end of the day you should just be happy with what you have. The car looks really clean
