Thanks for the kind words guys..
Im sticking with the six-speed untill I blow it to bits. Then Ill be dropping in a 5-speed with custom ratios and either a Group N 4.3 Final Drive or the HKS 4.11 Final Drive. Depends on how much power it is making..
Oh, and Ill prolly sneak some Cusco LSD diff centres into it while the tranny is out.

Took the car for a REALLY good run last night before it gets garaged away for the long weekend. Was really good to get out on the road and attack some twisties in it.
The car feels really solid, and almost too quick. The brakes, acceleration and handling are absolutly overkill for the street. Although, I must say, it is crazy fun to just toss the car into the corner and scream out the other side. It just feels so light and nimble. At times it can feel laggy, but that is just a trait of the Evo. Need to keep it on steam and it is just ballistic. Mind you, when I say lag, i dont mean the car just stops. All I mean is a drop in torque for a bit. The 2.3L REALLY helps it off boost.
When your making 180~190kW (approx 250~hp) @ 4,000RPM its a crazy ride.
With all the weight stripped out of it, it feel so raw. I got smacked in the head with a stone that found its way into the cabin. Funny stuff.
Anyways.. I guess Ill do another little write up next week when I pull it out of the garage again for another midnight blast.

As sunday was my birthday, I went on a birthday cruise with my dad. (who just happens to have a Porsche 996 C4S). With my brother in the passenger seat of the porsche he took some photos of my car on the roll. We then stopped at park and I took some photos of both cars. Hopfully they came out as it was my first crack at photography with a DSLR on manual.
My brother took the rolling ones, and the ones with me in it.. full auto.
Enjoy my MONSTER MACHINE...

Great looking evo
Just read through the hole thread. Who have u had do the tunning? From what ive experienced u should get close to 220kw atw with just a fuel pump, TBE and a boost controller on 98. I know i did and many of my friends to. Anyway keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing

Your goals could of been reached with just the stock turbo, cams and a turbo back and tune. If you going to upgrade the motor and turbo and everything your goal should be more of 10sec dd.
Sorry if im sounding like a dick its just crazy to do all that stuff for low 12s lol.
