anybody know the part number for a grey lower din with no install kit.

I went to mitsubishiparts.net and couldnt even get the full kit to come up under search. It was only when I entered the full install kit part # that I got anything. So obviously I couldnt find the seperated piece.

does anybody know the part number, a link or how to find it? Because I simply can't . I've been trying to find it for 3 hours now and I've decided that mitsubishipart.net is impossible to naviagate unless you already know the part number.

By the way....anyone know any other quality sites that I can get dealer parts a little cheaper?

Hey guys,

Sorry, I haven't visited this thread since October.

Just to make it clear, I'm not selling these lower DIN openings. I visited my local dealer and worked with the parts guy until he nailed the correct part number. It wasn't easy for him but he eventually found it.

As far as the different colors go, I think you'd have to work with your parts guy/gal to find the numbers for the color variations.

ok, after numerous calls and spending almost a half hour on the phone with my dealers parts guy we still couldnt find it.

Then I called mitsubishiparts.net and talked to one of the guys there. He told me that the lower din (just the plastic piece, not the whole kit) is available but only comes in black and that its a paint it yourself option.

So basically you need to paint it yourself if you want it to match your interior, but if you give them your VIN # they can tell you the color code for your interior.

For any of you that have the grey interior the color code is 39H

I'm a little confused.. a guy earlier mentioned that his Alpine fit fine with no brackets.. what about the stock radio?

I plan on buying the Omori slanted plate for the top DIN and moving my stock radio to the lower DIN.

Nope the after market radio will fit with no kit because the radio comes with its own cage. The factory one need the brackets to make it fit back in the dash.
