yeah i figured it was either because of that or the guy i traded fenders with kept his car in a garage all the time and it never got affected by the sun.. it matches really good with the bumper and the hood but the door's a little off. you can really only see it at certain angles and depending on the lighting. it just bothers me cause i know it's there.

You'll never get the paint to match by painting just a panel or swapping it out. Mostly with metallics and pearls. The only way to hide the differing colors is to blend the paint into the adjacent panels. Even then a good eye can see the difference. The only way to truly get rid of it is to paint the whole car.
Your car looks great compared to what it started as so that's what I'd pay attention to.
well my girlfriend decided to take some pictures for me

better ones will come, i'll take some during the day instead of at night haha.
mudflaps are coming later too!

ok whats a "Rice EVO"? I'm just wondering because I have an Evo with a CWest front bumper (just like one removed from this car) and my car looks clean. It may not be everyones "cup of tea" but it's far from "RICE"! This is what mine looks like and I see no "RICE", so I want others thoughts on this.
