Hey Guys, I apologize if any one is insulted. I never meant to imply that this might be beyond anyone's skill level. Its a lot of work, and some of it might have to be farmed out. I sure as heck don't have a hydraulic sheet metal brake!!!

Engine shot to give relative positioning of it?

You should write up an how-to with dimensions, looks slick!

Looks good! I've built a couple in my days, and they help a lot - you should add a duct feeding the box though. The gaps in the headlight area are not big enough.

If you have the tools to build one of these you shouldn't need a "how-to", it's a simple concept. Build a barrier to keep the hot engine bay air out, and a duct to feed it cold air.

Here's the one I built with a duct.

Sorry, its late and my brain is slowing down. If you can be more specific about what view you would like for an "engine shot", I'll get you one and post it tomorrow night.

Hey jid2, your posts about your own design were among the ones that convinced me to make my own. Thanks! I made a cold air collector as you recommended. Its been in since last summer.

A picture that shows your entire engine bay..zoomed out version of what you already took.

That looks very well constructed. How I need to look into doing something similar for my intake.

Very cool, I need to make a cold air box myself. The big intake on my TME bumper isn't doing me any good right now!

Like I said though, I'm willing to help out if anyone really wants to do it.
Looks Great!

I have wanted to build one of these for a while now. Please do a write up so we can at least draw from your experience, if we are unable to replicate it.
