i have plans to build something similar a little more aesthetically pleasing then Jid's but not nearly as nice as yours, both parties are correct, this isnt a hard concept or anything thats out of anyones reach, how much $$$ you want to spend and how much time you wish to invest are the only limiting factors...those and your own creativity

to the OP for some first class fab work for sure

Damn that's nice, how much did it cost for the materials to make it.

About $100.00 to $150.00 with the materials I used. Two or three sq. ft of .090 flat aluminum, two sq. ft. of Lexan (but I wasted a lot. ), five stainless Cam-Lock fasteners and receptacles, misc. stainless, button-head screws, washers, nuts, and 1/4 x 1 1/4 rubber gasket material.

Sweet - great looking design - nice fab work. I made one similar to this a year or so ago and it definately helps keep the intake temperatures down. Now I just need to get off my *** and make a headlight air duct leading directly to the filter, with a cap in case you get caught in the rain.
