She is gone....forever....

Hey guys....for those of you that know me and the journey that I had with my 2005 Mitsu Evo 8....That journey is officially over after 5 1/2 years. From stock turbo pushing 340 whp, to the FP Green pushing 450whp, ETS 58Trim pushing 500whp to the last setup which pushed 550whp she was put back to stock and traded in for good.

I traded her in on Cinco de Mayo for a brand spanking new 2010 Genesis Coupe 2.0T Track Edition.

It is true what they say, all good things do come to an end...but thats not to say that the new ride wont be as powerful...cause it still does have the heart of an Evo with its "World Engine" (Similar engine found in the Evo X *4B11*)

So far she has been accepted by most so that makes me confident that I made a good choice although the realness of the Evo 8 legacy has come to an end.

Attached some pics of the old and new car side by side and some solo shots of the new rig. Comments are welcomed.

Thanks for looking!

No MAF, uses a map sensor on the intake manifold and an air temp sensor after the intercooler.

I had my fun with my Evo.

And if you think its a "downgrade" simply because of the Hyundai badging, then you are mistaken. But hey, its only an opinion...I am happy with my decision.

Good thing that both AMS and Buschur Racing have aftermarket parts for my new ride

Are going to stick with AMS, or go buschur? I say you get a quality set of coilovers and wheels first!

IIRC they both sold their cars. I think its a great looking car, but selling them for a living prevents me from owning one. The Track series for some odd reason has transmission issues resulting in grinding and lock out. Hyundai reps come in with BMW trans fluid, redline and other goodies but the end result is a new transmission. Keep an eye on it for sounds/feels and nip it while its young.

nice purchase though
