Volks or Rotas (replicas)?
I <3 my Rotas - I have a set of Grids in 18x9.5's and they were only $900. I like wheels for their spoke design and offset, I spent the money else where. With the price I couldve got Volk TE-37's for, I got Rota Grids, AEM UEGO, Sparco Pro2000, and Takata harness.

Having gone from stock BBS to CE28N, I would have to say Volks. It seems like it's a bit of a downgrade going from stock BBS/Enkei to Rotas, but that's my opinion.
I've had issues with replica wheels with other cars in the past, but like I mentioned before, that's just me.

dats one clean Evo...what exhaust setup you have with that jdm rear?
I've owned carious Advans and Volks over the years on different vehicles and the only wheel I bent was a Volk SE-37 on my Type-R.
I had rota grids on my evo first because I wanted to go fast first. I always planned to buy nicer wheels but I just wanted something decent for now. It was a bonus that Rota actually makes an offset that Ray's doesn't to fit Evo VIII/IX's (+20.......Ray's Volks come in +22 and that 2 inches makes a huge different in the looks department). When I wanted to buy wheels I was tirn between the Grid's or TE-37's or the DPT's or the CE-28n's.
Since I rocked the grids for a few months I decided to try the DPT's in a different color. I'll be done making the car fast by next year and once I am I will more then likely get a set of Wedsport's SA-50's or CCW LM20's/Classics.
Get whats in your budget in order of importance....if you want to support the orignators then save your pennies and shell out the dough....car may not be fast but it will be authentic (Thats important to some). If you have a budget and you're not balling then get what you can afford even if its the replicators......sometimes they can do as good a job an a tried and true design (Grid offset optiosn as opposed to TE37's).
