I apologize for the super huge pics. I 3m di-noc'd my Evo8 wing and the gauge surround. First, let's look at the wing:



I decided to do this because I have cleared and sanded this thing down twice, and was never satisfied. I think this looks so much better. Next are the insides of the wing:





If you look closely, you can tell that I haven't finished covering the undersides of the flat part. When I first bought the product, I ordered it in 2 - 12x48 sheets because I had it planned out how I was gonna cover it. I can't afford to buy a huge sheet and waste a lot of it. I'm on a budget, and this worked for me. I will be buying 2 more sheets of the same size to finish covering the underside of the wing, as well as the interior pieces.



I also covered the gauge surround, and IMO looks much better than the glossy piece that I used to have from Rexpeed. Here it is:



I was able to cover this too with some scrap I had left over:

 

That aint half bad at all. Cheap alternative to redoing cf. Good improvision!

yea this has been done before and it looks like you did a pretty good job. you shoulda thought of taking some pictures and putting together a DIY. maybe you could do a quick write up as you finish your project.

 

I'll try to remember to take a few more pics of when I finish the underside of it. This material is really easy to work with, especially with what they've done with the adhesive, it's almost impossible to get bubbles underneath.

 

That looks freaking killer. At first I was confused what I was even looking at.

Where do you get the stuff? The only point of CF on most of the parts on most of our cars nowadays is to look cool (since most stuff is fairly lightweight already). And looking cool for the price of CF is totally pointless. Especially some of the smaller things.

I was gonna stay wingless until I found some threads about this stuff. It was a last ditch attempt, but i like the results! It's not perfect (I pay way too much attention to detail thanks to the Marines), but I'm glad that everyone likes it. Remember, you have to keep some kind of protectant on it (i.e. tire shine, but I use armorall protectant) so it will last as long as possible. Their website says it has a 4 yr lifespan if used on exterior car parts.
