Most-Wanted's IX Build Part "DEUX"
They are pretty light actually. I believe the weight was right at 20#. I will weigh them tonight with tires and get an estimate. I think the SVN's look great. I was wanting DPT's but they didnt have black and I didnt want to go through the wait on powder coat. I will just buy a set of Yamaha Black DPT's when they are available
Not going that route just yet. Gotta keep it a budget build so everyone can relate and not say I used one off or uber expensive parts to get the results... Once finished and tested I will make some changes, that being one of them...
As promised
The total weight of the tire and rim is 47.8# according to my bathroom scale. If you subtract the posted tire weight of 27# from tirerack that leaves you with a wheel weight of 20.8# which is what wheeldude claims I believe. Very respectable for a 18x9 30MM offset wheel. The price point is a given....

Working through the little stuff now. Polished all the bolts for the brakes with a dremel and buffing wheel
They were straight nasty and rusted. They look much better now. Just waiting on pads and rotors and we are ready for install. The Russell lines look awesome...

REALLY! Who gaps plugs at .020..... And for anyone that is considering buying the bumper support for the JDM bumper and running LED's, dont bother. I was told they would work but not even close. I'd have to refab the whole bar and I rather just pull the stock brackets and work with them. What a waist of money....
I did get alot done today. Installed new plugs, installed the new injectors, removed all the exhaust manifold studs, removed the bumper and cleaned the mud out from behind it, and a few other misc. things. Cant wait til some parts arrive so I can get this thing back together...

LED license plate lights. I may take the bar to a friend and have him cut the top off so I can install them. Its hard to explain but the LEDS bolt right up to stock but not happening with the bar unless you rebuild this thing. I was told they will work, not the case. I may just sell the bar and just use my stock brackets. I have the rivet gun and did it to my last one. I just thought the bar would give a nice clean look and make the install easier.

LED lights plug into the stock licence plate lamps. Plug n play. I have a set on my Evo. Ups the look a lot. I also have a JDM rear.
Maybe I don't fully understand.

Your right, they plug and play on the JDM bumper if you use the stock brackets. I've done it already on my last bumper. If you buy the JDM bumper support that driveline is selling for $250ish they do not plug and play any more. I questioned it and he said it would work. Not happening. I either need to rebuild the bumper support or just use the old method of using the existing stock brackets and license plate lighting set up.
