Most-Wanted's IX Build Part "DEUX"
No high expectation needed. Just read your own threads to see how meticulous you are...me too. My car has been down so long that I contemplated buying a stock 8 or 9 for the meantime (I should have). Heck, you've probably seen it at AWD more than I have
. I actually built a hooptie
94 civic hatch as my daily punishment (can't beat the 40mpg though). So keep
up the good work brother

Thanks WestSideBilly for cleaning up the thread.... Lets keep this a fun thread.
I will probably do the last little bit of prep for the parts today and removing the center caps from the wheels
LOL...

Most-Wanted, I know what you mean about running center caps on your wheels.
I have the DPTs in 17x9 and I'm still up in the air if I'm going to put them on. I think it looks quite mean without the flashy chrome R myself.

Thanks. We are getting there... I've tried detailing every bolt. The car was definitely played with in the dirt...
Some down time now waiting on parts will let me play some music and go to the pool with munchkin... Any one here DJ or really into music?

Hmm maybe djikonatx is referring to record tables/mixer's only. I dj around the house as well although my genre is reggae/dancehall. I have the macbook pro and may add a some cdjs later but for now my midi controller/mixer does the job.
Nice work with the evo, Most-wanted. Iam paying close attention

Hate to break the bad news to ya but I do use only the best so your post is ridiculous and makes no sense. I am on serato scratch for clubs(Serato itch with the NS7 at home) and use a Mac Book Pro so there is nothing better there. As for mixers and players, no reason to spend $1000's for the house because every place I go has their own equipment and you cant bring in mixers/players(nobody does that-LOL). The NS7 is just for fun at the house. I find it hard to believe you are bringing in mixers, players, etc to different clubs. Are you bringing in speakers too? LOL... I'd love to know what clubs let you bring in your own gear. Down here all the equipment is already built into the booth and very well set up. Only thing you plug in is your music which I have my main 1.5 terabyte drive, two 500 passports as back ups, and 500 back up on the Mac. So not a bad beginning makes no sense. I am set up as well as any Pro DJ in South Florida. I do not know 1 DJ that lugs mixers/players anywhere-LOL.... If your referring to not having the best table at the house, ok. Im not spending $3K plus to tinker when I am using fully built in systems at clubs. Just doesnt make sense.
Here's the last shot of my personal setup before I sold my soul entirely to Ableton Live:
- DJM800 w. EFX500, CDJ-1000MK3's and Akai MPD24

Currently I'm using Live 8 with the DJM-1000, Akai APC-40 (for clip/track launching and EQ'ing), and a Jazzmutant Lemur (for effects and modifying or looping anything within the soundwave).

Pragmatic... I like it! Honestly, if you're actually playing in clubs, the need of owning a 'club-standard' DJ setup in your own home is very small. Unless your are an amateur producer, a standard mixer (such as the one you've shown) works perfectly. A good setup could consist of an Akai MPD24 with a 2-Channel Mixer and Rane or Tracktor, all the way to an inclusive Denon or Numark CDJ-Mixer DJ setup like the one you've shown.

not a bad beginning setup you have.... J/K... LOL.. Looks like a great set up. I'd like to get more into it with recording and stuff. Just wish I had more time for it. I may start DJ'ing in a few months at a strip club
Its a no brainer
LOL... My wife's Grandmother returns from Brazil in December so I will probably do it then. We need someone to watch our son and she is the only one I trust
The one club has a deciated Light and Fog guy
Also has a 100' LED wall and the second one is around 50-75'. Dont remember the specs. Anyways, the DJ is only responsible for music... I love checking out all the set ups. BIG MONEY$$$ in these places in audio equipment...This is what I'm use to... However life is changing fast with a 9 mo baby at the house
