Yeah we have talked about it. Just kind of playing it by year right now.

 

How serious are you tryin to compete in the racing? If your in it just for the fun, but yet still want to be competitive, just keep the mr. I was gonna buy an rs before I got my 9 recently. I was pumped about it, just cause it was the factory "most-gutted" evo. After I test drove it, I passed on it cause I thought to myself, having a 4 door with no pl, pw, etc, just sucks lol.

On topic though, if you arent tryin to get into the racing too too serious, id keep the mr man. Its at a perfectly safe level on the hta green. The only problem you might run into is the trans, forgive me if im wrong, I just dont read up on the mr trannies.

its almost cooler to see a street car competing well with the full out race cars. Then to see just another track built car running around with the others lol.

Im the same exact way. The only difference is, the evo is the nicest thing I have ever driven. It just doesnt get much better than this. I see you have/are driven amg's, lexus' and porche. So it might be different for you.

 

Yeah its a difficult decision. I love the evo, just hate driving it every day. I also like to be amazed when I drive it and I start to lose that feeling when I drive it daily. I am starting a part out tonight. I need to free up some quick cash to get what I want. I will pick up an RS as soon as I find a decent one. Whatever I sell I will just replace once I get the RS here. If you see something you want shoot me a pm. Im not giving anything away. Everything is like brand new with less than 1K miles on it. I will be looking for a stock parts as well. I am trading the car in to a dealer and want it stock Gonna be some work but I like doing this type of stuff. Keeps me from being bored. The mod list is below and I'll sort through it.

Not sure. I need to see what happens over the next few weeks. I want to get my daily and will kick back slightly. I have passed up two RS's at $18K but one may come back up for sale. I have learned so much this time around and know how I want to do the next. If there is something you interested in let me know. I'll try to make it fair. Once I get the parts organized I will post up what I have and ballpark prices. I have so many parts some brand new never even touched like an STM oil catch can. The next car will be purpose built and will have no fluff LOL... The car will be 2200# and very bare...

It's sad to see you parting it out, I really admired your work and the car since the 1st page till now. Oh well, I guess i'm just gonna wait for a new RS thread.

FP green and cams are being kept for the swap. That to me is the perfect set up so its not being changed for anything.
