Most Wanted, slightly OT, but what did you use to hold your Defi control unit in place? Mine is in the same spot but everything I've used fails on me after about a month or two.

Havent tackled that yet because I am unsure I want to keep the guages. I will use either velcro with a sticky back or double sided for now. I havent been able to get the guages to operate 100% so they may be taken out. I gave my full size battery to a friend and this mini battery is 2 years old. All the lights are doing weird things so I am going to wait until my new battery gets here and test them again before I make any drastic changes. I'm more of a mechanical guage kind of guy and I have a set right here with steering column guage pod. So I may just take the defi's out and put the stock guages there and use my uego and boost over the steering wheel.

As for color. I cant wait for the accent colors. Definitely not painting the whole car Just adding a little flavor

Yeah, I'm currently using the velcro and have tried the red 3M double-sided tape with no luck. I might have to look for a more permanent solution.

What pieces are getting the accent?

Do you have a voltmeter? If you'll measure the voltage at each battery terminal with the car off, I can tell you if you need to replace the battery or not.

Post up a wiring diagram of the gauges and I'll help you troubleshoot the gauge problem. I'm an electrical engineering major and do full Evo IX and X interior LED conversions, so I promise I know what I'm doing.

The car probably never came with seat belts, so it doesn't need them.

I can respect that car, but I still don't like rat rods at all
