Most-Wanted's IX Build Part "DEUX"
Thanks guys
It is great to be back. I got alot done today actually. Car is registered and insured so "SELENA" is LEGIT
LOL... Finally figured out suspension, wheels, etc. I have the stock BBS SE wheels and was going to powdercoat them but just cant do it
So, many thanks to Dan at WHEELDUDE.COM. He spent alot of time with me going over different options on wheels and tires. I wanted another DPT wheel but they only had super aggressive offsets. Some people dont have access to someone who can roll and flare fenders so I went with a mild 18x9 30MM offset SVN in matte black. I am trying to keep this a very realistic build so its easy to duplicate. Tires are 255x35 Dunlop Star Specs. Again I could've went with something like a Pilot Sport Cup but that is unrealistic for many not to mention they are horrible in the rain. Suspension I dont want to cut any corners on. Its the one area of the build I feel needs to be approached a little more cautiously. I went with what I think is a middle of the road coilover. Teins and Apexi's are definitely non performers and JRZ's or Motons are way over the top. I went with the KW3's. Definitely not cheap by any means but definitely very capable performers. I'll do bushing kits, corner balance, and sway bars at a later date. I just need to get the car back together and on her own feet
I'm curious to see how the car performs with just an average install and alignment. I am heading down south tomorrow to drop off everything for paint
Thats the fun stuff for me
I may even repaint the front bumper... I will take some pics once everything returns from paint... I'll also take weights from everything. Wheeldude said they may have some Yamaha Black DPT's in the near future so I am super excited about that... These wheels are great and weigh in at just over 20#. This will be my second set so I can't wait to see the SVN in person. Pics in a few days...
Here is a basic list of mods on the car. Definitely not the finished product but an idea of where its headed. I will add or remove as things get changed.

Glad to see that your back!
your last build was pretty much what i based mine on. hopefully it wont be to long before your pushing the envelope again
best of luck with everything

Thanks again Mike for getting all my stuff ordered and taken care of... Its greatly appreciated. As for the tuning on an HTA green
No one said anything about a green
I think it's time to add the FP Black to your list of accomplishments! Looking at what you've run already, it seems like the perfect Dr Jeckel Mr Hyde turbo for the street.
All I will say is it will be stock appearing and built by Forced Performance. Rest is up in the air... Everything is off and ready for paint tomorrow. Pulled the valve cover and it looks brand new inside, very niiiiice
