Work in Progress 06 Evo
Work in Progress 06 Evo
Been a member for a couple years and have been slowly collecting parts. Quite a few parts I got from on this forum here, thanks to all of you who helped me out saving money! Im at home on leave and about to head back to Afghanistan, but was able to take my car to get some stuff done in Memphis at D&B Automotive, thanks Dave.

sorry the cars dirty, im still messing w/ it so i havent washed it yet. previously i had an intake, hallman mbc, custom 3" downpipe and test pipe, espelir exhaust painted black, carbon fiber lip, forge bov, borla exhaust manifold and weaksauce tune by me
i was given the borla exhaust manifold when i was back in Ca by Borla, the damn thing cracked on me, and when i called them they told me to just weld it... so much for their "warranty" the other option was to remove it and send it to them, so in 6 weeks they could send me another... yeah.. f that.. so i ended up doing several things to it since i wasnt able to remove the exhaust manifold myself.
just added:
the car now sits on 18X9.5 +22 Rota DPT's Cosmic Blue w/ Nexxen 3000's, BC Racing Coilovers, apexi intake, megan exhaust manifold and O2 housing, kelford 272's and ferrera valve springs/retainers, arp headstuds, Gates timing, balance shaft and accessory belts, new water pump, and auto tensioner, ETS 3.5 inch Blue Anodized I/C w/ gloss black piping, AEM Uego and Prosport boost gauge on steering column pod.
the car runs so much better now, before i would get alot of bov flutter in 5th gear and horrible gas mileage, now w/o that huge exhaust leak she runs much better, havent gotten to realize the gains from the other parts too much, because im only half way done w/ the Uego install.

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Looks similar to my old 8.
Nexxen 3000 -- really do handle like poo. I've tested them on a sedan.
Next set, check out the Hankook Evo v12s. Great bang for buck tire that still retains good handling and road manners.

How about you stop telling people what not to say on a public board. Everyone is entitled to their opions and he states his but did not get rude about it.
