Ugh, I have a headache tonight, and I am not sure if that is making me cranky, or if this wiring is just getting to me. I removed this much out of the engine harness tonight:

And now the harness that comes through the firewall is just this:

I found this connector under the dash, by the stereo, and I have no clue what it is. It seems to have plastic plugs in the openings, so maybe it's for diagnostic use at the dealer? Let me know if anyone knows, I'd love to remove it:

Good work so far. But I would think you would just want to control the fans and water pump with the AEM?

its one of 2 things, a radio connection since the RS doesn't come with a radio from the factory, or it is for a code reader to tell you why the check engine light is on, i could be wrong since im no expert, but i would like to pm you and ask you some further questions if its ok with you.?.?

It's neither of those, heh. The radio plug is on the dash harness, and the OBD port is under the dash as well. This could be a diagnostic port for other things (non ecu related), but I am not sure about that.
