Runthat, your lack of any knowledge stands out in your offering to do back to back testing on two different sized turbos and the fact that you are NOT going to be able to just test turbos back to back, the BW stuff doesn't bolt to any T3 based identical headers. IF they did I'd have already had the turbos in here and done the testing.
Hey Dave, I didn't bring up Sierra Sierra for any other reason than to illustrate that they have had apparent success using the EFR turbo and also to refute raiceboi697's statement that them receiving free turbos is the primary decision-making force behind them choosing that platform. I don't give a rat's *** how much money they have or don't have. I suppose both you and Mike decided to overlook my point. Oh well.

Oh, and as far as your statement about my offer to test the PTE and EFR turbos back-to-back and the EFR's inability to bolt up to any T3 based headers. Correct me if I am wrong here, but the turbo I am waiting on, the EFR 9180 is a 67mm turbo and comes in 3 varieties, one of which being a T3, .83 a/r, SINGLESCROLL. Now, why CAN'T that bolt up to the same header/manifold used for a PTE T3 turbo? Granted, even though the EFR is a 67mm turbo, the turbine wheel is 80mm. 6mm larger than the PTE 6765. So yes, they aren't quite the same size, although they are close, maybe even close enough for comparison testing. Idk, nor care much.

And raiceboi697, nut-swing much?

Far from it, but I respect the opinion of someone actually has done/acomplished something over some kid who has never built a evo and just has the bankroll to do it. Are you going to drive your car in what ever event your building for or are you gonna have someone else do it for you?

Oh, i see!!! You are talking about fitment issues with the internal WG's! AHHHH! Ok, so the issue isn't the ability to bolt up to the header/manifold per se, but the fact that the big *** hot-side requires you to change up your dp, etc.

Most definitely will drive it. And this is my second Evo build actually. Just like Mayberry, you like to make these assumptions about someone you have ZERO knowledge about. Good work! While we are making assumptions about strangers, let me make one. You are a nut swinging attaboy!

Well you make yours, I can make mine. Beauty of the interwebs :-) now I'm just waiting for my invite to come to the shore and settle this "face to face". With the cost of gas these days I'm sure Mayberry and I should carpool.
