Clear Bra for Lower Lip?

Does anybody have any info on this? I was thinking on getting a lower lip which covers the side facing the pavement. My car is lowered and the lower lip has scrapes from inclines and speed bumps. Would a clear bra would provide sufficient protection?

No. You would just scrape the clear bra off.

As far as hitting parking blocks or dragging it on the ground it wont do much but it will protect from rock chips and general road hazard stuff. Worse case just replace it every couple years.

Your best bet might be to go with a home depot thin lip. I saw someone put it on their 350z and it worked pretty well, if you're just worried about scrapes from bumps..

This...

Is a terrible ****ing idea

Get a real lip, and do what you're proposing. it's a good idea. personally though, I would get the whole thing covered. no one can see the underside anyway, so there's no reason to cover just that. to protect it, get the entire thing covered. I've been through 2 Authentic Ralliart lips, and 3 JDP lips. I'm about to get an OEM SE lip and see if that holds up better. good luck.
