Moscow EVO IX Build Thread
Hi there.
Bought this Apex Silver Evo IX in Jan-11 as a weekend car. Decided to make something i never did before. I had 2 scoobies before: 2003 black WRX GDB, sold in 2005, 2005 white USDM (2.5L) STI GDB. Nothing special, both were almost stock with minor mods. STI was also sold in 2007 when i moved to Moscow, thought i wont need such car here.
This Evo was 17.5K miles when i bought it, car produced in 2006.
Specs:
— Apex Silver
— Blitz Nur Spec R catback, ?welded? with some HKS in the middle
— Injectors RC
— Air Intake
— Coated Compomotive 18x8.0 ET35
— Ohlins Coilovers
Project just started, so i will tell u briefly where we are standing:

First visit to the service, making pics, checking the car, considering plans:

Received my DLS Gothia:

Cherished Pioneer AVIC F-20BT as subsitution for Hyundai device
Evo's interior by pieces. Some parts will be covered with alcantara, some with nappa leather, some with carbon fiber:

Some update.
Yesterday i received some stuff for my car. Received my Defi gauges and control unit
HKS turbo timer
Most wanted boxes with Takata harnesses
Zaklee Clear Cam Gear Cover
And HKS Fine Tune Timing Belt
HKS BOV
Some engine internals like ARP bolts & studs, ACL engine bearings, HKS valve springs, OEM head gasket and dress up bolts
Rare ARC shift knob and Ralliart radiator cap
Tein EDFC unit for my Monoflex, which is on its way to Moscow
Also got OEM floor mats, new floor carpet and some other OEM stuff for replacement.
More parts to go, stay tuned!
