i decided to do evo 7 style taillights. but i wanted to leave out the pin stripes because i might re do them next year. anyway so this took me a total of probably 9 hours of sand prep wax clean and paint! heres the before and after! haters welcome i wanna know everything! ill post more pics soon!

Its hard to tell from the picture quality. Looks way better than the stock 8 lights though. Next I would debadge the trunk to clean it up. I have been too scared to try this so I ordered some depot just incase. Now I can play around with my 8 tails

 

Lol I'm actually taking off the diamond and the evolution and doing the uk evolution viii logo thing lol. And you want to paint yours red?

i think this is the best way to mod the appearance of the 8. i love the look of the depo lights, but on the 8 they just dont match the headlights or the sidemarkers unless you blackout and amber them. I painted mine twice before i was happy-yours looks great though

 

Yeah, I already have the red trans paint.

Jester- my headlights are yellowing so the plan is to swap to some new blacked out so I agree with what you are saying.
