"JUNK BOX" Complete!! 8s???
You didnt think i was going to do a 2nd gear pull did ya lol. Track next weekend cant wait!
Great job man 8's are sooo close. I have a toxic fab manifold. Collen is super talented and does some an awsome job. I saw the car at his shop few weeks ago super clean car. Again good luck with the 8's.
UPDATE!!!
Alright guys,
This week the car is getting a little tweaks before the weekend. Devin @ Boostin is changing the oil, adjusting the whole suspension, putting my sway bar back on, and getting a alignment(havent had one since last year)
The last time i was at the track this car was all over the place. I mean i was just roasting the slicks :/ I think the car was making too much power for the track that day and that resulted me in not making a full pass that night. With the new tweaks and adjustments on the suspension and the aligment, the car will def come out straighter and should hook up better
Its never good to race the car when you let your hands off the wheel and it pull straight to the left.
Since the motor is fresh and the head is fresh. Car will most likely trap higher and hope to get that 8 sec slip. I'm still on 40 PSI making 777whp on the Mustang Dyno so I know theres a lot of room to go. Me and Devin says its pointless to throw more boost at it untill we adjust the car to that track day. It only makes sense. Ill up the boost at the track and go from there!
Next week im going to try to get the car in for the cage. The cage should have been done already with the shute and harness...but since I had to go through 2 motors and fix peoples mistakes i had to push back everything. I definetly need to get the cage done ASAP. I am going to the track this Sunday without though. If the car doesnt feel right, or loose on the top end I just simply let out of it. Will see how it goes. Weather looks perfect, in the 80s and sunny. It might be a little hot, but at least the track will be sticky. I had the car out yesterday for a little bit. Took a quick pic off my iphone getting gas. Nothing special, stay tuned everyone for results from this weekend!
