"JUNK BOX" Complete!! 8s???
UPDATE!
Went to the track last night and dont have any positive results. Was having big issues with 2nd gear and the Clutch is done. Were pulling the trans next week and putting a fresh QM in the car. While the trans is down, we are going to put in new syncros in every gear to freshin it up since thats the main thing that goes after a while of beating.
I coudnt make a good full pass yesterday. Not to mention all i was doing was spinning my slicks. Car was all over the place and I was getting really frustrated to the point i cant believe all this car does is spin. The clutch just felt worse. Its amazing the difference the clutch feels from when i went 9.1 to now. Definetly too long to not fresh it up. Only positive about yesterday is that now we know this issues about the clutch and trans. If we didnt go to the track last night and fugure it out. I would have gone all the way to the Shootout to have these issues and that wouldnt be good. With the new clutch and trans, i might make it to the track once more before the Shootout next weekend. We will see how things go and go from there. Stay tuned!
P.S. Devin @ Boostin Peformance went 8.9@166 is the Red Demon yesterday still on the 3586 with a 1.5 60ft. Car def has a more in her but it was awesome to see that car go. I need to do exactly that
Congrats Devin and I cant wait till more track days

Get it sorted out bro. This thing needs to be strong and ready for the shootout.
I seen the times Devin's car ran on Facebook. Man that is fast! Congrats to him and Boostin Performance.

Because race car
Well plan of action is removing the trans, replace the syncros and freshin up the clutch. Its about that time since the clutch did not feel right at the last track day on Sunday. I am also thinking about buying brand new M/T ET DRAGS. I bought mine used. I have cut a 1.40 60ft with these tires and i love them but i think for the rest of the season i want to put a fresh set on
Shootout is around the corner so i need to get everything together. We might make it to the track 1 more time before we go to Ohio. If not, the plan is go there for the first time with the fresh clutch and Trans. Stay tuned!

UPDATE!
Alright everyone,
Well its getting to that time that the shootout is right around the corner. This week the trans is coming out and putting a fresh QM clutch in it. Also going to replace the Synchros in each gear since the trans is already out
Car was having some major lock out issues at high RPM. The clutch is shot. Its been in the car for the whole season with 3 trips to the dyno, tracks days, and miles on the street.
The clutch needed to be refreshened. I also decided to put my Fp5R back in the car and take the Kelford 288/280 out. It seems that my trap speeds are down alot since the last track day with the Fp5r. My car lost some mid-range power with the new cams and that will explain the low traps. I trapped almost 157 with Fp5r on 39PSI on the Stock Ignition. So i think its best to throw those back in there. Besides the clutch, trans, and old cams back in thats about it.
The car will be ready to go next weekend the shootout. Cant believe its only a week and a half away. I wont be making another track day. I simply dont have the time and the car will be down for a few days. In the meantime, i cleaned the inside of the trailer and got the Trucks fluids changed along with a detail. Pics below
Ill see everyone next week. I have some more pics up later in the week!
