"JUNK BOX" Complete!! 8s???
UPDATE!
Devin @ Boostin Performance already pulled the trans and everything and last night me and him inspected the clutch. The clutch was worn out very badly. Friction material was missing, had a lot of heat burns on the pressure plate from be doing burnouts which i probably wont do any more lol. Overall im glad im putting a fresh clutch it in cuz it was time.
That would explain most of the reason why the car was locking out and not feeling right the last couple track days. With replacing the springs and synchros in the trans, fresh clutch it will be done early next week. Then wednesday night, off to the Track 1 last time before we head to the shoootout

Last night I went out with Devin@ Boostin and the "Red Demon" to help and watch his beast go down the track. We brought up the Z06 to make a couple runs. The car is bone stock with street tires. The tires are the Nitto NT05 which are more of a road course tires. The car spins horribly lol. If you try to come out over 3k all it will do it spin. I did manage for the first 2 passes in the car ever a 12.58@120.8 with a 2.08 60ft. 2nd pass i went 12.44@121.3 with a 2.05 60ft. After the 2 runs i realized i forgot to put the tire pressure down lol. The tire pressure was at 35PSI in the rear
After those runs we headed out, but someday towards the end of the season ill go back with it. Goal after i get used to driving the Z06 is to do 11s bone stock on the street tires. We will see. That would explain a lot of spinning haha. Overall it was fun to drive it out there and be out at the track. It was perfect night for drag racing. Wish the Junk Box was out there but next wednesday looks good also. Stay tuned Everyone!!

Thanks man! yea its def a lot differnce from driving the vette to the Evo. It was fun though. Next time ill remember to lower the tire pressure down in hopes to lower the 60ft. I think with a 1.7/1.8 60ft the car will see a 11.9 pass. Will see the next time i make it out.

I'll keep ya updated! Btw trans was pulled and my second gear was 100 percent shot also with my 3rd and 4th gear shift forks. Now it makes sense that the trans didn't seem right and getting locked out. Can't wait for Wednesday! Can't wait man, 5 days. See you up there
