"JUNK BOX" Complete!! 8s???
UPDATE!!
Hey everyone. Well the trans and fresh QM is back in the car. Devin @ Boostin freshened up my trans. Turns out i was running the car with a 100 percent worn 2nd gear with bad shift forks in 2 and 3rd gear also. I knew there was issues with the trans when i was getting locked out all the time.
Im glad we caught it and tore it down to freshin it before the track day and most important the shootout
If the weather holds off tomorrow night i am going to the local track for 2-3 passes to make sure everything is all good. Of course i will be trying for that 8 sec pass but also going to make sure everything is in working order for the weekend
I will be at the track around 7ish and ill update everyone tomorrow night on how it went. Stay tuned!!!

Well i got back from the track last night and im sure glad i went 1 more time before the shootout. First off i need to say that the trans feels great. I really wasnt slammin 2nd gear just because i want to save it for the weekend but it went into gear so nice. With a Fresh QM in the car it feels awesome ready to rip again.
The car had some break up issues basically on every run. We believe it is my ignition system and im going to throw on COP from spark tech that Devin@ Boostin has on his shop Evo 9 car. Its not a spark plug issue, it seems like the car looses spark right when i hit the top of 2nd and 3rd gear. You can also tell a little bit from the logs.
With those issues happened in the runs i managed to run 9.9@150.8. Track conditions were horrible. I couldnt get the car to hook even with the new slicks and tire pressure. I had the tires pressure to 13-11 because the track was that bad. A lot of complaints. Besides that everything on the car seems perfect. We throwing the other COP on the car and im going to bring my other one just in case. When I had the other COP on the car it ran flawlessly with no issues on any pass. I think thats the way to go before Sunday at the shootout with not that much time to do so much.
I have a lot of stuff to do before we head up there. Gotta get the Junk Box cleaned up, load the trailer with everything and so forth. I am leaving tomorrow morning and will be there in the afternoon I cant wait for Sunday. Im just looking forward to seeing everyones car go and meet new people. I hope my car runs great and can get close to knocking on that 8 sec door! See you all tomorrow!!!

Looks like my car wont be making it this year.
I got it running all of an hour ago, but I got way too much other crap going on to prepare the car for an 8 hr drive.

I cant wait to run it Sunday. The tracks out here lately have been terrible. I always like the Norwalk track. I cant wait!Sorry to hear about u not bringing your beast
Its tough with not a lot of time before we have to leave. I have so much stuff to do tonight to get ready i hope i remember everythiing lol. See you tomorrow man!
