I bought my evo 7 light from them through ebay and got it within the week(3days)

 

CX speed, I would say JDM red are nicer, but you have a point, I want to see darkened tail lights before I argue which one is better, red or black. Anyways, it's all about preference, and I like a clean, non- meat ball altezza look. With the JDM red's you have nothing to worry about, but these still have the "*****" lol. Anyone got pics of a black evo with MR style lights?

^^ those are not MR tail light right? the turn signal is clear compare to the one on the MR which is amber or orange.

mann... Do it with careful planning. I mess up on mine bc I was tired and alil **** off. I did a set for my buddies and their turn out to look pretty darn good. It takes alot longer to blacked out the tails than the heads. Trust me on this, it's a *****!!! The head lights also come apart alot easier too. 400 is alot!!! I think I'll go around with my jacked up tail lights. Actaully, my driver side is ok and my passenger side is jacked up. THe lense cracked when I attempted to open it. So I'm screw now. I'm in need of another set, anybody on here selling theirs?

 

Sarin: Not MR tails, just painted black. I would like those more instead of MR becuase I don't like the orange turning signal, but close enough and better looking IMO.

 

they are $399.00 shipped from japan you have to remember that. I think its a reasonable price. Plus those tails are nice as hell.

 

i looked @ that ebay link..... the best thing there is that graphite greay on the EVO, now thats hott!!!

I just bought one!! I dont care if it's still altezza'd out..Its still JDM man!! and for that price with shipping from Japan...thats hella good! anyone wanna buy my original taillights for $150 for both?! CAN'T WAIT FOR MY MR TAILLIGHTS!!

 

i think the MR's look decent - but dont buy something for the sake of being "JDM".

in japan, it seems like altezza's really aren't too rice. so you can also be "JDM" by just keeping your stock lights.

anyone notice that too? for example, at the d1gp drift event, two s15's had altezza's.

just kinda has me wondering how everyone wants to be jdm, but when it comes to altezza's, people rip on them as if japanese people scoff at the lights the same way we do here, when thats not the case at all

I've noticed that too. It's always a "want what you can't have" syndrome... especially with JDM stuff. The only stuff that seemed to really matter with the Evo is the ACD/AYC. Oh well.

 

if i didn't already have the VII's i'd get a set of these...

 

I like the JDM 7 tails much better. I do think the MR tails would look nice on black, but no other color.
