tail lights they are cool cuz it gets rid of the euro chrome look. However the jdm headlights are tight, but my friend got some JDM lights for his RSX and man those things are totally not worth the money nor the time to get them. Basically since they drive on the other side of the road, the beam pattern is shifted to blind on-coming traffic in the states which may I mention really pisses people off. He got arrested due to his lights, but thats another story. In general it attracts NEGATIVE attention which you dont want...but hey whatever floats ur boat... Painting looks exactly the same when done correctly and is much more cost effective.

Hmm, i don't totally agree with you on the headlights. I will def. get the MR headlights, even though they're JDM and not USDM(wait, that doesn't sound right...i'm referring to the light pattern). I've seen DC5 headlights on many RSX's around, and I also had genuine Honda HID Type R headlights/housings on my CTR and had no problems. The light is so nice, you gotta see it to appreciate it...no wonder why they're so expensive. Anyway, all i did was lower the beam since it was too high, but doesn't the Evo come with a manual headlight leveler anyway?? Plus, my headlights didn't go more to the right than the left...they lit up the whole road evenly. maybe each car's different , but i'll def. get the JDM headlights.
P.S.-I'm not trying to flame you or anything like that. it sucks that your friend got arrested(i don't know how over headlights, unless they caused an accident or something), but i also got pulled over when i 1st put my HID's on cause they were angled too high. once i lowered them a little, they were totally fine, didn't bother anyone. like i said, each car is different with the way the lights go.

You are correct, but I've found that if you use a clear coat over the night shades then no chipping to be had. Another alternative would be to spray it on the inside of the cover.

ImportUpgrade is correct about the lights having a diffent light pattern. If you know anyone who has a Audi for instance, park the car in front of a wall and look at the light pattern. From left to right it is flat and then climbs up to the right. This is the same for JDM spec cars, except the beam pattern is reversed.

They are very cool looking lights but would be a definite hassle to drive with at night.

A tuner shop should offer this service.

I bought these last night, once they arrive, I'll try to post pictures to see if the beam pattern is any different... I also ordered the taillights but was told it would be about 3 weeks before they shipped... (I bought them from a dealer in Japan)

I'll bure sure to do that, but I'm already bummed out because I was reading about how much trouble it is to install the jdm headlights... I didn't even consider all that ish about them driving on the other side of the road...

A little off-topic, but does anyone know why Mitsu elected to give us Altezza looking lights on our Evo 8s and not JDM Evo 7 or MR-style tailights? And why they didn't realize they should change the taillights for the 2004 model?
