i was going to do that until i forgot about the lights in the oven and they melted and shrank!!! I think i trust a heat gun more now. I have such a bad memory.

i think it looks pretty tight. i was considering doing it as a test to the tail I broke out when I backed into my buddies truck. I was even contemplating just leaving the plastic off, but that may damage the light. Anyways, it looks good. Though, if I had the money, the bling factor of having real MR lenses would be cooler IMHO.

its tastefully done.... seriously looks much much nicer than the ori.

i've read from one of the forums on dismantling the lights, was wondering, wouldnt it melt a little plastic if we were to put it in the oven/microwave? for 20minutes?

was going to try heatgun....

who wants my evo7 rear lights? would swap with something like Kun's...

Hey, Notiguy, are you located in Malaysia? Yeah, the oven trick helps alot. I need to get my hands on a set of tailights, so that way I always have 1 ready to swap immedieatly, for people that are interested. So, anybody wanna sell me their stock tailights??? PM me. Thanks!

yes i am from malaysia... seriously? oven? is it the same as the microwave oven? at what heat rate? and time? sorry to trouble you as i really want to learn how to do it myself since you're so so very far and i cant seek personal experience from you.

send my stock tail lights to you? wow...let me check the freight charges first.... ahhahahahaa............

I think you bake it for 15 mins at 250.....then add a little salt and you're ready to go.

But yeah, 15 - 20 mins at 250 should do it.
