Hookup on Stereo gear
Hookup on Stereo gear
Hey everyone,
I was hoping to find someone who owns, or has a good hookup from, a stereo shop carrying JL Audio, and MB Quart (or Focal) gear. I manage to spend more than I had originally intended on engine, suspension, drivetrain mods
and now need a close-to-cost source for my audio gear.
I will make sure that it's worth the shops time and effort to supply the gear, but I just can't make/justify the purchase at the retail mark-up level. Show mercy on a college student (please
)
Specifically, I probably will be needing:
Front Speakers: MB Quart QSD 216
Rear Speakers: ???
Amplifier: JL Audio 450/4
Subwoofers: JL Audio 12W6v2 (2)
Amplifiers: JL Audio 500/1 (2)
If anyone can help me out, pm me or hit me back at: MyEvoMUsername <at> Stanford.EDU
Thanks

a few things:
1) try ebay if you are on a budget. they have all the stuff you are looking for and for a good price.
2) try looking into differenet front speakers. there are many options out there that cost much less than the QSD.
3) try to determine if you really need 2 12's of w6v2. i have 1 right now and it is great and doesn't add too much weight. also you can try the 12w7 (just 1).
4) for rear speakers all you need is something simple for fill.
