Did your air filter come apart and get sucked in to your turbo? What kind of filter was it?

 

Yes, back in October the filter broke, and damaged the turbo slightly.
It is completely my fault. I had the air filter too close to the BOV, and when the engine torqued, the two parts contacted. I imagine they had been contacting for some time, and I just hadn't noticed it.

CBRD customer service is superior.... he had it repaired and shipped within the week, at a very reasonable price.

The filter is a large Amsoil. 4" inlet, 9" long. I was impressed with the build quality so I bought another one.
