Any particular reason em? I'm assuming it's for having a safer dd and. Not worrying about the turbo pulling in any material that could destroy the motor? Just a guess not trying to say that's your reasoning just curious as to why no ff manifold setup. Looking forward to some start up videos

Maybe just to showcase other products they offer, rather than their baller top shelf items?

I could see that Jamie, but everything STM has made I would consider top shelf I just wanted to know if there was a performance or reliability reasoning behind emery choice to go standard t3 manifold. Btw check your fb messages

I want to be able to road race this car if need be. That's really the only reason. Chasing someone with a FF kit would not be good.

Em, what's your reasoning for using such a big turbo? Especially for road racing.. Wouldn't you want a more streetable turbo that hits full boost around 3500-4500rpm? Plus, a turbo that can produce 800hp would be A LOT to handle around corners

You can always turn it down and down shift. If I use a small turbo I cant turn it up to make the power I want to make on the street or at the drag strip.

Being that I enjoy drag racing more than anything the car will be more geared towards that than anything else. It will still be able to do everything else quite well.

I find this quite surprising. I was planning on getting a crank scraper and a BR baffled oem oil pan this spring, but by your response I presume you have thoroughly tested these parts on the street and track and on the dyno to end up with the conclusion to stick with the stock setup...

are you running an extra 1/4-1/2 quart of motor oil or something?

I have not had an issue with the stock stuff yet. I do run extra oil though. Probably around an extra quart actually. Usually a half inch over the full mark.
