Never once did I say that anyone in the left was moving faster than the speed limit...not everyone drives the speed limit in the right lane...therefor they are passed in the left lane...making it for faster cars.

You have to be moving faster than the person to the right to pass...and you should know that not everyone drives the speed limit in the right lane so it is needed to go faster to get around them.

'round here traffic is flowing 10 to 15 mph above the limit. getting in the fast lane doing the speed limit is stupid and dangerous.

First thing that came to mind to be honest though is that it looked like you and everyone else was driving WAY to fast for those conditions PERIOD.

yea i must say that i was going a bit fast for the condition. but the weather was fine about 30 seconds before this happened.
