The AC blows ice cold and its been a hot summer here and the car is running awesome. I am keeping this car for a long time, i have a feeling down the road it will be a car to have

Quick question for everyone. Soon i am going to buy come coilovers for the car and curious to what people think of the Meagan Street coilovers? Ive hear some good and bad things about that but for teh price they arent bad at all. Anyone have these before and like them?

Pricing on the D2s are pretty expensive and cant afford that. The BC's i actually have not looked at the prices. Im just trying to stay around 900ish if possile when the time comes.

 

This past thursday the car was at Boostin for the turboback exhaust. I pieced together a turboback and bought the Buschur SD muffler. Everything came out awesome and Devin @ Boostin Performance did an amazing job fabricating it all together. Ill post some pics up of the exhaust shortly.

The car now is on a MBC, intake, Turbo Back exhaust, and this past weekend me and a couple buddies installed a wideband. End of the week i am ordering my new rims for the car. I am going with the 17 x 9.5 +18 in silver. Black you have to order them and i dont want to wait lol. I might powder coat them in the off season. I am deciding on a 245 or 255 tire. Ill decide when i get the rims in. Here's a quick pic of the car after i washed the car at my buddies house

 

Just ordered my new rims guys! I went with RPF1s 17 X 9.5 +18 in silver. I didnt want to wait for this size in black so down the road i am going to powder coat them. Im still deciding between a 245 or 255 tire. Right when they come in im going to get the tires so i have a few days to decide. I cant wait! Pics to come soon

Congrats on the new daily bro! I find it funny how we have a few things in common... I've been calling my cars junkboxes for yrs, every forum I'm on or have been on have all had the name junkbox in it lol... Your drag car is a tb Evo & mine is a ww Evo... U daily a ww Evo & I just picked up a tb Evo to daily Lolol. Crazy lol, anyway congrats on the daily. As far as the megan coils, I have em on my drag car & have no complaints!

Thanks Bud! Its a blast to drive everyday. AC blows Ice cold and still has enough power (for now lol) to have some fun with. The Junk Box term started back in 2008 with my first Evo. From then on i just called it that then decided to make it offical with the drag car. Thats crazy we have the same color EVOs. I always wanted a White RS and I was lucky to find one local to me thats very clean and well taken care of. I heard good things about the Meagan coil overs. I just want a decent coil over for the street nothing crazy ya know. I think they will be fine. I also might just go with a lowering spring. It all depends.

 

Lol I hear ya. I own my own tow truck & guess what my company name is... JunkBoxTowing Lolol. But yeah these cars are just great! I love my drag rs soo much that I just had to get another Evo to daily. I'm probly goin to make a thread within the next few days myself. It's been a while since I've posted lol. But I'll deff be keeping an eye on your progress.
