^ No vids unfortunately. I'd like to do a driving vid, but haven't got the camera for it!

Alot of people relocate them to behind the intake, moving the intake to behind the headlight; which is probably how it should have been from the factory.
I'm happy to leave it as it is, as its not something limiting power on mine. I like the stock airbox and piping in there anyway - it just looks so right! :P

Thanks again everyone.

More recent pics from driving about:

and more...

Hopefully that's enough pics for a little while! hah

Anyway, the car is still running really well, and its still just a bloody joy to drive.

I just wanted to tell you that your V is absolutely stunning. I really wish I could get an authentic one here in the states. Too poor for a Mirage conversion.

gorgeous work on the engine bay... great restoration to make it look so new. Is it difficult to import a car from Japan and getting it registered in australia? I'm hoping to migrate to australia myself..

Where did you get these from?

Tomei Expreme exh manifold and heat shield kit
Tomei spark plug cover
Tomei Billet oil cap

???

I see your from Vic, so am I.

Been searching for ages to find those Tomie items. The Oil Cap is easy enough, I got a place I can get that from, but the heat shield and spark cover elude me.

Not riced off its head, clean, simple and smart. Very nice ride.

^ I usually just search ebay. I happily buy parts from anywhere in the world - its all the same.
From memory the cap and spark plug cover came from the US, from FRSport i think.
The exhaust manifold and heat shield were on the car when i got it. but I definitely saw them easily available when i bought the other parts. Tomei still make all the 4G63 bits.

Anything after 1989 has to be an approved import, which is on a list called the 'SEVS' list. Google it if you want to see whats available.
If its fine to import, and the car meets the standards here, its a relatively fuss-free process.
Almost anything can be Privately imported (if you owned the car before coming here), so always an option as-well.

..And as usual, same disclaimer - its not as good as it looks! They're obviously just bloody flattering photos!

Couple more unnecessary pics. sun-setty..

mind the shagged bonnet under-matting.
