don't do it bro. the only reason I'm not winged right now is because my cat (14lbs) jumped off of the 2nd story of my villa and cracked the OEM wing right down the middle and his fat *** set off the alarm.

I put WE* in my sig but it's all sarcasim. I want a GT wing. I would love a Voltex or ARP Performance.

The EVO has a gigantic vacuum that forms behind it. The higher the wing the better. The wing and the votex generater together are a real solution.

I have wing envy (for Voltex and ARP Performance)

I went wing on for the first 9 months and then I took it off. I like it for now, but I bet it'll go back on one day haha.

It's a totally legit question. The point I was trying to make was there are already a dozen winged vs wingless threads.... Why do we need another?

I bought a wingless evo from the start and less attention from cops/children in subarus is better than more. Just keep the wing around incase you go to the track.

I literally drove from the car lot to body shop and dropped car off to remove the wing, fill holes remove badges and respray trunk. I didnt care about attention with the wing it was the fact it wasb in my rear line of sight. I would have to move up or down in the seat to clearly see through rearview mirror. I like the look much better without

FWIW, my first Evo was a RS. Wingless. I removed the wing from my SE for about a year, but put it back. Decided that I liked it in the same way as I like the duckbill on a '73 Carrera. Exciting stuff, I know.

loud exhaust + big wing = street racer (in the popo's eyes) = pulled over
How does one come up with this equation?

I have never been pulled over just to be pulled over.

I'm stuck right in the middle on the topic as well. Without the wing, I feel the rear is very plain and boring (without the JDM rear at least). I feel as though the wing balances the car out.

But I would like to go wingless for a bit to see.

a loud exhaust on an import is usually all it takes for a redneck cop to pull you over (i live in an area that's kind of redneck-ish). a wing (boy racer) just makes it more likely for you get pulled over - IMO.

and by pulled over for nothing, i mean being pulled over for a loud exhaust, while the cops won't even blink at a loud diesel or loud a$$ Harley.
