This topic has come up a few times and I'm not sure if I commented already. If I haven't:
"Making an Evo wingless is like cutting your cars ***** off". If I did comment already: "Making an Evo wingless is like cutting your cars ***** off"

i personally think if you do it right you can make your car look good with or w/ out a spoiler. im still trying to figure out what i want but i think im going to just weld the holes and paint it since i have a trunk lip now
i myself own a rs so im wingless and its funny how many compliments i get from people thanking me for taking the wing off and i used to go into explaining how mine didnt come with one but that takes to long so now i just say thanks haha
I think they look good either way! My wing started peeling on the top so I took it off and it's been off almost a year. I'm getting a carbon trunk for it soon, and will keep the stock wing and trunk incase I ever want to go back
was wingless for 3 months. put wing back on, put a gurney flap on it, NEVER LOOKED BACK.
you got an evo. stop trying to make it look like a lexus is250 or whatever. it just doens't make sense. especially the wing was there designed to work. yes. it was designed to work with the car.
i understand if you have an rsx and the wing there is just for stupid show.
but you have an evo. now that i've been to both sides, i am prejudice against this "trying to be different so i'd go wingless" bandwagon. unless you have an RS. otherwise. no respect for that.

I've given wingless a shot, and I don't mind it. I miss the wing, but not enough to go out of my way to put it back on. I park outside sometimes, and for whatever reason, people always seemed to do things to my car with the wing, from leaving cans/bottles/cups on it to someone eventually damaging it with their bare hands. I remember once when I lived on the beach, someone even drew a swastika with their fingers on the moisture. But without the wing, so far so good. I enjoy sleeping better at night.
