Hey everyone. Its been a little while since I've updated you guys on the RS. I haven't really done anything to do the RS for awhile now. I recently picked up a new ACD pump from someone local since mine has been bad since day one. Next week, I am throwing in the new ACD pump and plan to go back to the track the same exact way. I think with better track conditions and the cars basically not FWD, I know the car will make an 11 second pass with the 3 bolt ons. Hopefully I will get out to the track in the next 2-3 weeks.

This past weekend was the Boostin Performance open house. It was a great turnout and I thank Boostin for having it. They must have had over 35+ cars on the dyno, plus not to mention all the people that were there. I decided to throw the RS on the dyno for the 2 dyno pulls. The car hasn't been touched since Devin tuned it last year on the street. It made 309WHP/302TQ on his brand new MUSTANG dyno. I was shocked to see those numbers. Especially for the minimal mods the car has. We planned to throw it on his dyno to fine tune it, but we never got around to it. I do have the dyno sheet I will post up.

For now I'm just going to get the new ACD pump in and go back to the track in the next few weeks. Stay tuned!

Yea it could use a little more ponies lol. In a couple weeks I'm doing a few more things to waken it up a little bit more. I'm still going to go back to the track the same way and run 11s with the 3 bolt ons. I'm hoping to get out to the track soon again

Thanks! Yea white is def one of the best color on an EVO. That's why I got an RS because you don't see them a lot and they are very rare.

 

UPDATE!

Last night I brought the car back out to the track for fun to see what more I can do. It was a good night at the drag strip. Thursday night, I was at Boostin Performance getting some new FIC 1150 injectors and a tune from Devin on E85. The car made 360whp on his Mustang dyno. All I wanted to make was at least 350whp so after we made that we stopped.

Went out to the track last night after work. Weather was great all night and the track was decent as well. I ended up going 11.59@117mph. Same full weight, full interior, ETC. Car ran amazing. I am still on my RPF1s and Hancook RS-3 tires. I cut a 1.72 60ft on that pass which was my best for the night. The Hancook tires I'm not really happy with. They are pretty hard and the car still spins a lot. We lowered the 2-step which helped but the car still spun.

Overall I am very happy with the car. The car just rips and is def a sleeper. I have plans to get a Upper pipe and get some Cams and go back out soon. But for the minimal bolt ons this car has and running mid 11s, I am very happy. I have pics and videos that will be uploaded ASAP

 

did you pick up a different front mount for this car?

 

Yes I did, I put on a used AGP Intercooler last weekend. I would rather have gone with an AMS/ETS/Buschur intercooler, but I got a good deal on this one so I threw it on. I forgot to mention that in my first post about. So only things added was E85 and the AGP Intercooler.
