UPDATE!!! 3/15/13

It was my birthday last Friday so i treated my self to some parts. I got some parts for my black car that im finishing up in the weeks to come. For the RS though, I picked up a Walboro 255 Fuel pump and a AMS small battery kit. The AMS small battery kit is a little used, but in great shape.

My next round of mods for the RS is this:

-AMS small battery kit
-Walboro 255 Fuel Pump
-AMS Front Mount
-Boostin Peformance Upper Pipe
-Tial Q BOV (purple)
-Speed Density, Remain on 93 Pump gas
-Re-tune from Devin @ Boostin

These next round of mods will even open up the car a little more. I wont be able to do all this right now since I still need to finish the other car, but in the next month or so I plan to have it all done with these new planned mods. Here's a quick pic of the fuel pump and small battery kit. The small battery kit is a little dirty, stay tuned, more updates to come!

Its been a little while since ive updated this thread. Last week the car was at the body shop getting some work done. Nothing major, I wasnt in an accident or anything, I just wanted to get some work done on the left rear quarter wheel well. Took the body shop 5 days. I dropped off the car Monday morning and picked it up after work on Friday. They did a great job and it felt good to get the EVO back lol. They washed the car for me and I snapped a couple pics off my phone.

I still have no big plans for the car as of right now. I did pick up the AMS small battery kit along with a 255 Fuel pump. Im waiting to get a few other things, then Ill be throwing them all in the car and a re-tune from Devin @ Boostin Performance. Stay tuned!!

I'm going with the AMS front mount since im getting it slightly used from somebody for a killer deal. It is in great shape and for the price I cant beat it. I have the ETS 5" core on my black car. If I was going to go with a new FMIC, I would probably look into the ETS or Buschur core.

UPDATE!!

I had a 3 day weekend because of Easter so I decided on Friday my day off to clean the EVO real good. It needed it lol. The weather was nice all weekend, with temps in the mid to upper 50s. Finally lol. I decided to wash and detail the car. I didnt wax or buff it, I just washed it and spray waxed it. I also cleaned the engine bay to get all the salt off from the days prior and cleaned up the interior. Car looks amazing, just got it back from the body shop. It needed a good detail. I snapped a few pics of the car

UPDATE!!

This weekend is going to be nice. Sunny today and tomorrow and temps in the 60s!! Yesterday when I got home from work, I decided to wash the car real quick. I snapped a quick pic nothing too special.

I do have a question for everyone. I am bringing the car to the track on April 20th for fun. The car is making 340WHP/323TQ as of right now on 23-24PSI 93 octane. I have the AWD D2 coilovers and going to be racing on my RPF1s and Hancook Street tires. My question is, I dont have any trail arm or rear diff bushings, do you guys think ill be okay? I dont want to break anything. I was told I will be fine, it just might be a little clunky which doesnt bother me. Im getting all the fluid changed Tuesday and thats about it. What do you guys think about not having the rear diff bushings? Thanks!

I think I will be okay. The bushings arent that expensive, I just heard it's a big PITA to install them. I'm just going to change all the fluids in the car and have at it. I might trailer the car to the track just incase anyone of us has a problem lol.

I would look into the trail arm and rear diff bushings for your car man. Especially with the power level you are at.
