Painting ValveCover Funstuff!
Ok so Decided to do this all in 6hours before work probably not a good idea but I've done this a few other times with no issues!
Airbrush gun for consistent flow of paint or you can use a real gun/ spray paint doesn't matter I prefer Real automotive hi-temp paint.

1. Removed all bolts, clips, clamps Etc from Valve Cover! <Make sure to cover this so nothing falls in or gets to dirty while working on this project.

2. Cleaned it all with alcohol, Sanded it with 320 Grit, someone suggested 220 but you'll probably end up with scuffing if your not careful 320 does nicely! Again wipe it all done make sure nothing is left but a dull finish after you re-clean after sanding... Sorry didn't take a picture at the time.
3. I'm using a Automotive Metallic Base Coat for this because My finish Coat will be a Anodized style paint. Apply 3 even coats waiting approx 10 min's between coats so that you have no runs. This is the 1st coat.
It looks like primer but its actually the base coat on top of it.

4. Wait an hour after this Base cure's fully! Finish product now just to let this sit for 3hours before handling, 7 days to completely cure!

Time to head to work!
