Clear Coat Bubbling

I searched the forum and the net. Didn't find the answer I was looking for for this problem. I have an 05 and the roof (primarily) clear coat is starting to bubble. Does anyone know if Mitsu covers this? Or at least helps with the cost of fixing. I know with Honda where I work they will.

highly doubt it. bubbling is from the environment you live in generally, not a fault of the car

unlikely, they won't cover the spoiler fading, so I would doubt they would cover the roof. Wouldn't hurt to call and try though. Worst they can say is no.

I know manufacturers don't like to cover any type of paint work since it is so expensive to deal with. But I'm gonna see what my managers here at the Honda shop I work at can do. Maybe one of them knows someone at a Mitsu dealer or is friends with the Mitsu rep and can get some kind of help. Thanks for the input guys.

Don't let this linger too long. I also have an 05 and our warranty is done. Get this fixed ASAP. Don't make the mistake I made by waiting.

Well I'm way past the 60k mark. I'll get it fixed either way. I had a mustang before that did this and completely lost all the clear coat on the roof and trunk. Just ruins the paint and the car. If I cant get any help through Mitsu, I'll just have to pay to have it done I guess. Sucks though.
