I recently finished painting these for a buddy's camaro SS, painted inferno orange (oem color).

 

Hope you covered up the bleed valve, bolt threads, etc.

 

Did you have to paint the metal clip behind the glass sphere red in order for it to appear red?

 

Yes sir! On the 9's there is a small plate behind the projector, on the 8's it's the whole sphere shaped price behind the projector

 

Honestly I left the black caps on the rear bleeder valves and I wrapped a m12x1.00 bolt in tephlon tape to plug the hole where the brake line goes on the back. The front bleeder valves I painted over. Doesn't cause any damage, the brakes bled fine and he's driving the car as we speak lol
