Hurculiner the evo 8!?

So I live on a long gravel road.. My poor evo is starting to take some abuse in the lip around the wheel well were rocks fly up and wack it . I have this crazy idea to go rally status and hurcliner ( same as rhino liner) the lip not actually on the outer quarter but just so it keeps my precious evo quarters from getting chipped and rusted. What are your guys thoughts? I think it would be dope but I don't know what my evo peeps thoughts are

How about this. Get the car wrapped with clear 3m or you can plastidip the lower area with clear plastidip.

At least those options are removable

+1

Plastdip is pretty damn durable.

Eh idkkk I kinda think it will be bad *** being done with the liner . It won't be seen unless you look under the quarter pretty much

Are you talking about after the wheel on the fender lip? I have chips as well. I recently put on RokBlokz mud flaps and notice there is less dirt in that area with them on. I don't know if they stop the rocks or not, but worth a shot.

If you do the liner, make sure you update this thread!

Yeah like where the quarter wraps around and it's pretty much exposed to the tire say if I rub or something. I wanna hurculiner then get some rally armor flaps for the ultimate rally status ahah

If you properly mask the lip of the wheel well off so that the texture is relativley unoticable looking straight at the rear panel, I think its a great idea.

And you can color match it to your vehicle as well to make it even less noticeable.

I helped a friend herculine his Toyota Tundra's box and that stuff is very easy to apply and is strong as hell!

Rhinolined my front lip a year ago. Love it. Hasnt chipped since. Got Rallyarmour mud flaps. Also have 3M clear vinyl in the front side of the rear wheel wells (splat spot), where all the rocks kick up.
