Wife just reminded me that we have spent 150 to 250 every week since I've had the car back. I think her patience is wearing thin as well.

I can relate. I was very close to buying a IS-F and calling it a day......and pretty much for the moment every other day I wonder if I shouldn't have pulled the trigger

Amazingly sad story. Very sorry for your loss. You have to pay to play. Thats how the world works. But in the end its just money and just another car. You have your life, worth more than any Evo/car for that matter. Your patience is next to none and if you make it through round 2, it will be an extreme type of commitment over 99% will not be able to endure.
We are the 1 percenter that will keep truckin along cause you live and learn. Hopefully the light has shed on key points when building a high performance machine. There really isnt any other way to do it but right. I wish you the best in the future with the Black Evo.
If you are ever in Denver, hit me up. You deserve more than a

I just read your whole thread and I am at a lose of words too. Glad you stuck through it all though and are still in the Evo game. When I bought my evo it was def a lemon and one of the pistons cracked and shot metal all through the motor. It is fully built and done the right way now. Hope all is well with your new Evo and it looks damn good in my opinion. I am also in Raleigh too btw if you ever go to any meets

I think my luck just sucks. The first time I paid the money to have done right just trusted the wrong people. This time around I paid the right money to the right people but I just picked up an abortion of an Evo. I asked last year who owned the car and no one recognized it.
I'd love to punch the previous owner in the throat for letting this Evo go to this point. I keep my cars as clean as possible and whoever owned this car before either couldn;t afford to take care of it or didnt care.
Either way I didnt have to buy it so I'm trying to make lemonade out of lemons.
I have 2 last things to tie up this weekend and then MAYBE I'll be in the clear. Hopefully one weekend will go buy where I don't have to spend a hundred bux or more to keep this b!tch on the road.

Smurf, true...I mean my friend's dad had one and oh it was so nice...blue version...All you need is drop , wheels and you're done really!
Although you're new evo will be as sick as you're blue one, maybe haha!
