Machine shops mistake. Took a while to get to the point where they took the motor apart. Took a while to get it all back together (I had the QM rebuilt for the 2nd time in 2 years). HG issues so head came off and they were having a hardtime finding a machine that could o-ring in less then a months time since I had been waiting a while.
Last update I got was they did find a machine shop and they had sent the head off (few weeks ago). I assume its on the way back, or already back. I don't know. It is what it is. They covered the motor rebuild. I had them add a few small things.

Honestly I'm really stuck. While I dont want to rebuild the car again I know I could if I had to (might take a bit of time financially). All the cars I've been looking at (With the exception of maybe the RS) would cost me a lot more.........
Then again I have pretty much sworn off work that I can't do myself. its no reflect on anyone in particular but this is the 3rd time (not just with this shop) that I have had to wait over 6 months to get my car back on the road. There are normally legit reasons why, but this is the cost of going big.
I can confidently say I will never be doing that/this again. BoltOns and thats it. Reliable as OEM and appearance. Nothing wild. Ever. Again.
LOL.

OH nooo! Man that car has been gone. My evo days are done. I still have love for the evo community, but nowadays Im just a lurker. That car consumed my life for about 5 years. No regrets, but I wouldnt do it all over again. Which reminds me, I need to update my signature/profile. But hey look at the bright side H, if I change my mind you can always direct me to this post, lol.

Whats up dude. Yeah my current financial situation has dictated for me that I will at least be a Evo owner for the next year or 2. After that we'll see.

Crazy story man. Glad to see you've stuck with the EVO family.
I'm dealing with the damn P0011 SES light right now on my 9. My builder is about ready to pull his hair out thanks to my car haha. He's determined that there must be a cause and not chalking it up to a "phantom" code.
