Got the car tuned today down at English. It's a SD tune without an iat sensor, Aaron said it's pretty useless and they aren't accurate and just cause issues.

366hp and 325ft-lbs tq at 19psi!!!

My piston rings are fine and everything is running amazing. He did a boost cut and it threw all that **** from it building up out the exhaust and it ran a lot better after that also when he first flashed over the map then adjusted things the massive richness went away and the car stopped smoking.

no boost leaks no oil leaks everything held great, during the 1st dyno pull my dipstick shot up and oil went everywhere, then he did a boost cut and for a second I was worried the motor was done. then after the 2nd run the numbers just kept getting better! I could have gone higher on the boost and ran more power and torque but he was worried about my drivetrain and reliability. I've blown through 2 of those 2.4 transmissions already so we'll see how this goes.... on a built 2.4l 4g63 motor now not just the 2.4 sohc with minor mods. it's completely new though the other transmissions were used with over 100k miles on them.

my front o2 sensor was dead, wasn't reading anything, so once I got the car trailered back home (I have 2 year expired tabs and no harnesses/seatbelts in the car) I went and got a 2g eclipse gst o2 sensor and now she purrrrrs and the minor fluctuation from rich to lean from the bad o2 is now gone and it sounds awesome, English rocks! they did great work and if any of you guys haven't been there, I suggest stopping by, very professional and friendly and laid back!

ill post some pics and there's vids on youtube under "Neal Caffrey" for the dyno runs.

Why not use an Evo 8 ECU?

Aaron said we could have tuned for higher numbers but he was worried about my transmission holding up and he basically is just having me break the motor in with these numbers, also giving me time to get my aftermarket jmf o2 housing and larger injectors then tune again for over 400whp if I want to Thanks for all the comments and compliments guys! ive put this car together very meticulously and tried to make it not ricer at all. I love the body style of the eclipses over the evo's and this is the product of two years, $20,000 and my genius ingenuity lol I'm glad you guys like it!

I know it says max power 362hp but look at the other graph, I made 366 on less psi with a little more timing, the last graph was my final run and what its tuned for, little more psi, little less timing. like I said im going to get a jmf o2 housing and larger injectors since they were already on 98% cycle duty with the 366hp, and then ill get another tune on higher psi and shoot for over 400, I know the 10.5 evo 8 turbos on pump gas have reached up to 420 if not more. I don't want to max the turbo out and ruin it I just would like to hit 400whp then my next upgrade will be a fp black.

Very nice I have a similar project going except mine is an 8g galant. How is the clutch slave clearance with the ETS extended manifold and 10.5 hot side? Going to English on Monday for my tune.

Awesome man I hope you get some good numbers and English will take care of you theyre really friendly. They got pizza when I was there and invited me, my fiancee and my dad to have some after we got my car tuned.

I have plenty of clearance with the 10.5 hotside but my ets manifold was modified; 10 degree angle and extended 2 inches, I had Ricky at speed factory do the work, it cost me $580. Ill post some pictures when I get a chance. But my slave cylinder isnt in the way one bit I just take my air filter off and I could bleed it without removing the turbo like others have to do, also ive noticed some guys can't even put a filter or coupler on because the bleeder line is protruding out, I do not have this issue. I believe ets makes extended evo manifolds for an outlander but it doesnt have a 10 degree angle on it. Also youll need to relocate your front o2 sensor because it will slightly rest on your fan shroud. An aftermarket jmf o2 housing would also solve the issue though since it puts the o2 sensor on the other side of the housing.

Okay and sweet dude, but just an fyi the 10.5 with the two spacers will not clear your starter youll need the manifold put at a 7-10º angle. Even the outlander extended manifold with the 10.5 wont work.
