My JDM Evo 7 GSR
My JDM Evo 7 GSR
Thought I'd show my latest 4G63 powered monster to the garage
I was initially looking for a project evo 9 to build into a track day toy when this car showed itself.
Needless to say I've taken a strong liking to how it drives and have now decided to neaten up the edges and make it a nice comfy daily car and turn the 9 into my week end warrior.
Some info on the car, its a 2002 model JDM spec GSR. Has 152000kms on the clock, still starts and drives as if it had 40k kms on it, not a hint of smoke or oil usage
, completely standard aside from a Fujitsobo catback and a Greddy dumpvalve, it has some JDM MR Bilsteins which I'm still trying to figure out if were an OEM option or were put on by the previous owner or down the line. The previous owner had some strange styling ideas and thus put some cheapy gearknob and rattle canned the valve cover. The TE37's are in dire need of a refurb, and some how they managed to strip 4 of the Rays lugnuts.
Over the past 2 weeks I've given the car a major service, put on some decent road tyres and started getting rid of the rice and terrible spray work in the engine bay.
End goal is to get her looking in near showroom condition, some basic mods and daily the car for as long as possible.
Thank you for reading, comments and criticisms welcome (She isnt in perfect condition I know
)
Now onwards to the pics

Put the 9 tails on to see what they looked like

Dont worry, we also get neglected by some manufacturers
Thank you very much, our exchange rate is pretty terrible, so it worked out to around $10500, bit steep I do know
