Mark's 6266 2.3L 771WHP/603

I started this project in November 2011. It’s a Evo IX MR. MAP supplied all of my parts as well as machined all of the parts and built the cylinder head. Thanks to the MAP team for me popping in for advice and to just see what they were up too, they are a great group of guys. Jordan provided an awesome tune today. I wanted a conservative tune for a street car, this was accomplished. This car will not see the drag strip, I already have a car that breaks almost every time I bring it to the track, I didn’t need another one! I had a goal of running 40 PSI but it quit making power after 34 psi up top so it made no sense to keep pushing it. It would make too much torque down low for my twin disc too. I fabricated all of my components and assembled the motor.

Mod list:

• 2.3L – Manley turbo tuff and Wiseco HD’s, 9:1
• Kelford 272's
• 5 speed conversion with 4.11 FD, evo 8 3-4
• AMS oil pan
• 2150 injectors
• BB PTE 6266
• AEM Series 1 EMS
• 3.5 inch downpipe back aluminum exhaust
• 3” down pipe
• Self made Manifold, downpipe, exhaust, intercooler piping and dump tube – there is a thread in the welding and fabrication section
• ETS 4”
• MAP Beast mode Xfer case
• Grimmspeed boost controller
• Magnus V5
• Boomba
• Tial BOV
• Exedy HD twin - I can't believe it holds so far!

Correction is STD. Run was in 4th.
