Mark's 6266 2.3L 771WHP/603
No runs in 3rd. For a random data point on the street it hits 25PSI by 4400-4500 RPM in 3rd gear. And full boost by late 4K's. Not sure why it quit making peak power, or what the restriction point in the setup is, however I'm more than happy with the results! The turbo should live longer at lower boost too. The setup has surpassed my expectations.
This is what the Dr ordered! I've decided that a T3 manifold is the way to go for me, but never considered top mounted. Thanks for documenting. What size are the intercooler piping, 3"?

Or they just want to compare the setup to many other charts, which are all typically done in 4th.
English racing for sure and I believe most other shops that do 700whp+ evos all run them in 4th to my knowledge to get a better sampling for tuning, so not sure what the big deal is. For a high power car on a dynojet where you can't adjust the load I think its fine.
if i remember correctly i have read that in 4th gear it seems to spool faster. i could be mistaken but thats what i remember.
with that said the spool characteristics are different between gears. so that is probably why they are asking for 3rd gear pulls

What I meant by response and torque in my post is essentially spool (all directly related as more boost earlier = more torque).
However regardless of that this setup does seem very responsive and is making some serious power for a T3 6266 at a very moderate boost level, very impressive indeed. and although that torque curve is an insane plateau, a good sum of that is because this is a 4th gear run giving the motor the time and load to spike that boost up hard and hold it for a long time given the longer pull due to 4th gear causing it to hold torque longer in a smoother (plateau like) line rather than see the rainbow like faster drop off you'll generally get with a 3rd gear pull.
Excellent results sir, thats one hell of a machine you have there.
