Evo VIII MR badge

I always thought the pic below was the VIII MR badge and the IX MR badges are the ones with "EvolutionMR" in one badge with silver and red. I went to my dealership with my vin though and he could only pull up the IX MR style badge. So is the pic below an OEM badge or is it an ebay one or something? I'm not the original owner of my car so I wouldn't know if it was changed.

Thats what I thought! I have it on my car too.

But when I have the parts guy at mitsu put my vin # into the system it comes up with something like this:

or this:

Anyone have the part number on the badge in the OP? I had to take mine off for some paint and now part of its adhesive backing doesn't stick well.

Some Scotch 2-sided trim tape will do the trick, rather than ordering a new badge.

From my understanding This badge is the JDM version.
I also asked at my loacal Mitsubishi dealer what the proper badges were on the car stock, and they did not seem to have any clue. It seems like there were a few different versions around for the CT9As in the US.

Here's the part number on that specific badge you're looking for. " ALN05SLR04" Mitsubishiparts.net sells it

Also the ones that read out " evolutionMR" are JDM. The one that I gave you the part number for is for USDM and the UK trunk badge offered by Ralliart UK reads out " EVOLUTION VIII or IX MR "
