I was following this build on mirage forums. Very nice build. I especially like how you modified the car to use the evo 9 lhd steering rack. Genius! I wonder how hard that would be to duplicate without cutting up an evo. Maybe take the parts needed from a base lancer???

I'm sure it could be done! That's only if you need the front end and got the rear in already. You would also need the power steering rack as a lancer dosent have quick steer.

Been busy doing basic wiring for the windows, locks, courtesy lights, and folding mirrors

Since I'm using a Evo9 folding mirror switch to work with the Evo5 relays, I needed to run a seperate relay. The Evo9 folding switch has a negative output to fold and unfold the mirrors so I used a relay to switch that negative to a positive signal for the Evo5 mirror relays. As you can see above, I've used a OEM Omron relay from the horn relay off the old harness keeping it all Mitsubishi.

The super rare Evo9 folding mirror switch with a one button fold/unfold switch. It all works just fine!

OEM remote unlock, startup & unfold mirrors, parking lights, driving lights, fogs then a soft launch.
Didn't want to run the camera over

I picked up a set of adjustable lower control arms and rear toe arms to help align the suspension into spec.

Fallen Azenis 255/40 wide tires and stock EVO9 with snow/gravel tires.

Uses Toyota COP and can be used with stock ecu. Better ignitions!

Hey braddah wassup!! Didn't know you were on here!
Was it 6 months? Felt like a year! In that past year, just about every free time I had from 6am to 10pm I would be working on it. Guess you can say 6 months.. the other half would be eat, sleep, and balancing a full time job.
Thanks for cheering me on, fans like you gave me more drive during the build!

Testing out the oem evo9 BBS rims. Did some adjustments to the ride height on the coilovers since it had a hot rod stance. Not into the blacked out rims and will be going with a silver color in the future.
Still need more adjustments as the wheel wells are different heights front/back when the body is level.

Thanks! It was fun figuring out how it would all come together since there's no clear documentation of what I created! Main goal was to squeeze as much 9 into it!

Pineapples grown in the back yard!
No roof or garage over my build since day one, anything can be done!
